Fancy has been Lindsay's pet
horse since birth. Fancy is a black and
white tobiano mare. Her mother died while she was
still nursing so we fed her milk from a bottle.
This, of course, made me develop a very strong bond
with her. The song Fancy by Reba McIntyre was very
popular at the time and that is how she got her
name. She is such a sweetheart but despite her
small stature, she has quite a bit of control in the
mares' pasture.

Fancy's first baby. Reba, although her mother and father are black and
white tobianos, turned out solid black. Go figure. Reba is named after
Reba McIntyre who sang the song "Fancy". She's a sweetie just like her
mom and I have very high hopes for her.
